Feeding Our Community with Love
Join our dedicated volunteers in serving nutritious meals to those in need. Every month, we come together to make a difference—one casserole at a time.
How It Works
The Casserole Club serves meals at the MCHH shelter the 1st Wednesday of each month. Cooking in person occurs the Tuesday prior to the 1st Wednesday of the month.
Each month we publish the menu and recipes that need to be made and served. Meals usually include a casserole, side dish, dessert, and drinks. You are welcome to participate in any stage that best fits your schedule, capabilities, and/or funds.

Our Mission
The Casserole Club supports Montgomery County, Maryland’s most vulnerable community members by cooking and serving delicious, nutritious meals to area shelters.
Our primary focus is providing meals to the Nebel Street Emergency Men’s Shelter, operated by the Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless (MCCH). MCCH works to make homelessness rare, brief, and nonrecurring through direct services and systemic advocacy.
We provide 200-300 hot nutritious meals monthly to the MCCH men’s shelter and serve 30 residents at the Rainbow Place Women’s Shelter.
As our community grows, we can support additional shelters and needs. “It takes a Village” — we welcome your participation and ideas to better serve this community.
